Wuxi IoT corporation builds smart city

Lanswon, a Wuxi-based IT company, has helped Wuxi and other cities to construct smart cities through internet of things (IoT) technology.

“Black box” monitors for elevators 

Lanswon has developed an elevator “black box”, which monitors the elevator’s load and pressure-bearing in real-time, as well as the the elevator’s speed and temperature via sensors. 

An algorithm monitors the elevator’s condition through sensor data. When below standard, the elevator’s manufacturer, operators, property management and relevant departments will receive reports to promptly service the elevator. 

The first elevator “black boxes” will be installed in October this year. 

Internet Plus government services platform improves efficiency 

Lanswon has designed an Internet Plus government services platform for the government of Yueyang, Hunan province. The platform has established a series protocols for messaging services terminals. 

With the mobile terminals, government officials can deal with the messages at anytime, anywhere and whenever they need. If reply times are not timely, the related department responsible will be penalized. Citizens can receive message replies in a short time due to the increased efficiency. 

Smart energy station 

Samsung’s Wuxi factory has worked with Lanswon to construct an energy station capable of recording factory energy costs guide energy allocation. Both the front and back end of energy pipelines were fixed with sensors for data collection. 

The system monitors the use of energy in real-time and compares the data with usage history. Related staff can analyze the cost of energy and regulate consumption to reduce emissions. 

Lanswon’s businesses cover smart medical, intelligent transportation, smart building, smart campus, system integration (SI), cloud computing, service packages and big data storage systems. Several of their projects are located in Wuxi, with the newest to be on display at the 2017 World Internet of Things Exposition.
