Wuxi has compiled a practice of internet of things (IoT) technology, attracting thousands of students to Wuxi every year. This model will be replicated nationwide in the future, Wuxi Business Daily reported on July 12.

Wuxi will hold the 2017 World Internet of Things Exposition from September 10 to 13. Other IoT events have also begun, such as the sub-contest final of the 2017 National Undergraduate IoT Design Contest.

Wuxi is a national IoT industry center with an excellent IoT base and adequate equipment.

Since the IoT education resources sharing association set up in 2015, Sensing China Windows (National IoT Exhibition Center), the Jiangsu R&D Center for IoT and eight other units won the title of IoT engineering practice teaching base.

With these bases, IoT education has been compiled to offer support for colleges, sharing Wuxi’s IoT resources through demonstration visits, operational experiences and expert lectures.

There will be more IoT engineering practice teaching bases in the country after accumulating enough experience, replicating the “Wuxi model”.
