Wuxi's Hi-tech district organized an outdoor music event on the evening of Aug 28, a warm-up to the 2018 World Internet of Things (WIOT) Expo which will kick off on Sept 15-18.
The music event opened with the theme song of last year's WIOT Expo. Performed by local musician Du Yichao, the song was written in the Wuxi dialect and accompanied by ancient local instruments.
A total of 4,500 people enjoyed the great performances in the Wuxi Hi-tech district. The evening drew to a successful conclusion with an affectionate response to the popular songs sung by famous singer Zhang Shaohan.
The music event highlighted the cultural exchanges and entrepreneurial innovations as well as the fashion, innovation and vitality of the Wuxi Hi-tech district, the most vital area of Wuxi's internet of things (IoT) industry.
Scheduled for Sept 15 to 18, this year's World Internet of Things Expo will include one main summit, one IoT application and production exhibition, 10 high-end forums and 16 series of events. The number of activities and participants will exceed that of last year.
