Students of Wuxi No.1 High School enjoyed a new form of setting-up exercises during their break on Sept 5, when a flash mob featuring the 2018 World Internet of Things (IoT) Expo stoked the school.

Together with the expo's mascot "Wu Xiaolian", Wuxi musician Du Yichao performed the theme song of last year's World IoT Expo. Du wrote the rap song in Wuxi dialect to show the development of the IoT industry in Wuxi.

As a graduate of the high school, Du was excited to promote the high-end expo and communicate with the students during his performance. Sponsored by the organizing committee office of the 2018 World IoT Expo, such flash mob events are going to hit other local schools.

Scheduled for Sept 15 to 18, this year's World Internet of Things Expo will include one main summit, one IoT application and production exhibition, 10 high-end forums and 16 series of events. The number of activities and participants will exceed those of last year.

The World Internet of Things Expo, having been held for two years and become China's top internet of things event, will showcase the latest products, advances, models and development trends related to the IoT.
