Wuxi promotes big data industry

A signing ceremony between the Industrial Big Data Innovation and Integration Center of the National Engineering Laboratory for Big Data Algorithms and Analysis Technology and the Southern China Headquarters of Meritdata was held in Wuxi National Hi-tech District (WND) on April 15.
The National Big Data Innovation and Integration Center is led by a member of Chinese Academy of Sciences Xu Zongben and Meritdata. It will focus on improving big data analysis capabilities, algorithm design and collaborative innovation on the internet of things (IoT) industry and apply the results from the national laboratory.
Meritdata will also invest about 100 million yuan ($15 million) to build its Southern China headquarters in WND. Cooperating with the Wuxi-based Ixinwu Company, the headquarters will promote industrial transformation in WND and develop the latest technologies and models for IoT +, cloud computing and industrial software.
Built in 1998, Meritdata is a well-known national industrial big data company. It has taken part in establishing the national standard for China's big data industry.
