Smart city summit hears from industry, government
Representatives from government and industry attended the China (International) New Type Smart City Development Summit – part of the World Internet of Things (IoT) Expo 2019 which commenced in Wuxi on Sept 7.
During the event, officials from Wuxi municipal government announced the launch of the second phase of Wuxi City Big Data Center.
The center, based on Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) cloud computing, mainly focuses on the collection, storage, governance and application of government data.
Zheng Zhibin, president of the Smart City Global Business Department of EBG, Huawei, delivered a speech on how 5G + AI technologies can contribute to the smart development of cities.
