The China Big Data Innovation and Development Conference was held in Wuxi Sept 22.

The event invited scholars, experts, representatives from related enterprises and industrial associations in the big data sector to discuss the integrated development of big data, the internet of things (IoT), cloud computing and intelligent computing.

During the event, Shen Changxiang and Tan Jianrong, academicians at the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Rong Chunming, an academician at the Norwegian Academy of Technological Science, delivered keynote speeches both online and offline. They mainly talked about development trends in big data and blockchain.

Wuxi-based big data company Inspur Droso launched its new big data operating system TDOS at the conference.

The system can describe data in a multidimensional and omni-directional manner, manage full data, help customers extract and integrate all relevant data, and build a unified big data warehouse.

Inspur Droso also signed an agreement to build a financial technological laboratory with the Agricultural Bank of China, Huaxia Bank, Wuxi Rural Commercial Bank, Yixing Rural Commercial Bank and China CITIC Bank.

Wuxi has developed over 300 big data enterprises. Inspur Group is China's leading cloud computing and big data service provider. In 2019, it ranked 189th among Fortune 500 companies in China.
