The 2020 Industrial Internet Innovation Development Forum was held in Wuxi National Hi-tech District on Oct 16.

The forum invited experts, government officials and representatives from relevant enterprises to talk on issues related to the construction of industrial internet platforms, innovation and application of industrial big data and development trends in industrial internet.

During the forum, many guests gave speeches to share their ideas on development and ecological construction of the industrial internet, including Tan Jianrong, an academician from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Huang Xiong, an academician from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Gao Xinmin, a member of the Advisory Committee for State Informatization.

Topics such as "from internet of things to AI internet of things: key technologies and development trends" and "industrial internet from multiple perspectives" were empathized by many participants.

Yin Zhenyuan, deputy director of Wuxi National Hi-tech District, said that the industrial internet is considered important in empowering industrial development. He said that Wuxi National Hi-tech District will work with enterprises such as Haier Digital to support the landing and application of the latest technologies related to the industrial internet.

Jiang Liang from Jiangsu industry and information technology department noted that the development of the industrial internet has become a new engine for the digital economy. He expected a number of leading digital industry development zones, industrial digital transformation zones, and digital technology application zones to be built in Jiangsu province.
