Details about 60 of the latest technologies and applications of the internet of things (IoT) will be announced in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, Nov 18, during the last event of the 2020 World Internet of Things Expo.
The event, together with the Chinese Enterprises Strategic Investment Summit, will invite representatives and leaders from Xiaomi, Qualcomm, Lenovo, Supor, TCL and iFlytek to discuss the future development of IoT technologies in areas such as policy, industry, technology, innovation and management methods.
The 60 IoT projects will come from participants of the "Hai Chuang Jiang Nan" IoT Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, which was held for the first time this year to attract more resources, create a better atmosphere for IoT innovation and entrepreneurship, explore new IoT technologies, products and applications, and strengthen the role of IoT in industrial transformation and upgrading.
The competition's awards ceremony will be held during the event and will present 10 gold awards, 10 special awards and 40 innovation awards. The competing projects applied various emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, augmented reality and virtual reality (AR/VR), and hardware design.
As the top IoT expo in the country, the event was first held in 2016. This year's expo was held from August to November both online and offline in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, with the aim of showcasing the full range of IoT industrial development.
