The Inspur big data industrial park opened in Wuxi on Aug 15, the first achievement resulting from a cooperation agreement signed last year between Wuxi and Inspur Group, China's leading cloud computing total solution provider.

Built at a cost of 5 billion yuan ($747.9 million), it is predicted that the big data industrial park will have annual output worth 50 billion yuan and bring about 10,000 jobs in the next three to five years.

The Inspur big data industrial park will create a world class development environment for big data companies investing in the city. It aims to form maker spaces and incubators to attract more medium and small-sized internet technology and software companies settling in Wuxi.
