Smart manufacturing forum to be held at WIOT

One of the focal points of the forthcoming World Internet of Things (WIOT) Exposition will be the Smart manufacturing and Industrial Internet Summit Forum, to be held on Sept 11.

The WIOT will be held from Sept 10 to 13 in Huishan district of the East China city of Wuxi, Jiangsu province. 

The expo will consist of a main conference, 10 sub-forums, an exhibition of IoT applications and products, the third IEEE International Smart Cities Conference and six related events, aimed at helping traditional enterprises transform and showcasing the first-class achievements in IoT.

The smart manufacturing forum will attract industry experts, including those from Fortune Global 500 companies, from around the globe to discuss the latest trends and advice on how traditional firms can transform and upgraded in the IoT age.

Prominent international manufacturers will also attend, including of Phoenix, GE, Dell, Huawei, and Haier, many of which will deliver keynote speeches on how IoT is revolutionizing the way we do business.

Other topics to be covered will include key basic materials, core basic components, advanced basic processes, and the latest in the development of industrial robotics. Intelligent sensing will also be discussed, as well as numerically-controlled machine tools, and how the traditional manufacturing industry is being transformed by using smart equipment.
