Summit opens in Wuxi highlighting sensors

A summit highlighting sensor and intelligent system application opened in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, on Sept 9, bringing experts and industry leaders from home and abroad together to discuss the latest achievements in the industry, as well as its future direction. 

Jointly hosted by Wuxi Micro-Nano Industry Development Co, China Sensor Industry Alliance and Wuxi Intelligent Industry Association (CSIAWII), the International Summit of Sensor and Intelligent System Application invited industry leaders and academics from countries and regions including China, the United States and Germany to speak freely, exchange ideas, share experience and build consensus. 

As the first event of the 2017 World Internet of Things Exposition (WIOT), the summit was also attended by Peng Hongbing, deputy director of the Department of Electronics, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology; and Gao Yaguang, deputy mayor of Wuxi.
