An alliance of leading companies in the big data industry was inaugurated at the 2017 Sensing China Big Data Industrial Development Summit Forum in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, on Sept 10.

The alliance was initiated by seven companies including Inspur, Ericsson, Cisco, Nokia Shanghai Bell, China Electronics Technology HIK Group, CCi Intelligence, and Huayun Data Technology Service Co.

The agreement is a significant move for Inspur, which seeks to combine its capabilities and the advantages of its partners in data resources, technological resources, capital and talent training to advance innovation and entrepreneurship in big data.

The launch of the alliance is expected to attract more small and medium-sized enterprises to move to Wuxi and help accelerate Smart Wuxi construction.

Inspur established a partnership with Wuxi government in August 2017, when the Inspur-Wuxi Big Data Industrial Park was inaugurated. They have also agreed to build a big data trading center and a research institute in Wuxi.

Inspur Group, China's leading cloud computing and big data service provider, is committed to promoting the opening, sharing and application of big data. Currently it has assisted 27 provinces and cities to establish big data platforms and operate 33 big data maker centers.
