A conference was held on the Parallel Application of Supercomputers in Wuxi on April 27. It focused on supercomputing and artificial intelligence.

Sponsored by the China Computer Federation (CCF), the conference sought to build strong connections between the two fields. During the conference, many local entrepreneurs interacted with experts and asked for advice on how to utilize supercomputing to enhance the intelligence of manufacturing industries.

The National Supercomputing Center in Wuxi introduced the programs "Sunway Community" and "Wuxi Supercomputing Cloud Platform".

According to Professor Yang Guangwen, head of the National Supercomputing Center in Wuxi, "Sunway Community" is a very active online forum in which high-performance computing enthusiasts can freely chat and share with others, receive notifications and make announcements.

As for "Wuxi Supercomputing Cloud Platform", it is supported by the center's supercomputing hardware, and is designed to integrate all application services on the cloud platform and control the high flux therein. Experts say that the platform will make the use of supercomputing technology easier and more convenient.

The two programs are expected to promote high-performance computing and inspire more application units to use supercomputing technology to help develop industries.

Professor Yang also said that a comprehensive technological exchange platform will be established to help both domestic and foreign developers of supercomputing systems actively collaborate and build a better supercomputing ecosystem based on the existing Sunway Tiahu-Light supercomputer. These efforts are expected to expand the use of supercomputing, enhance its level of application, and ultimately create a world-class supercomputing center.
